We may unconsciously fall into familiar roles within our family system—the peacemaker, the black sheep, the caretaker, the invisible one, the responsible one, or the one who carries the emotional weight. These roles can feel fixed and exhausting, yet they reveal where awakening is asking us to release obligation, guilt, control, or attachment to old identities.
